IN DEPTH: In stroke play competitions, which will be decided by hole-by-hole play-off, the Committee may issue score cards and charge the competitors with the responsibility to return them to the Committee. The score card should contain the name of the player, the scores for the hole/holes played and be signed by the player and his marker
Note that the Committee expects the players to return their score cards as soon as possible, otherwise the players may be disqualified under Rule 6-6b. 

Suggested wording. This Rule shall always stand under its own headline.

Returning Play Off Score Card
The player must return the play-off score card to the Committee as soon as possible. When the player has handed the score card to the Committee and left the "Scoring Area" in ... at ... defined by ... the result of the play-off is officially announced. Penalty: Disqualification of players involved unless circumstances warrants waiving the penalty under Rule 33-7.
