IN DEPTH: Many golf courses are built to deal with large quantities of rainwater. Swales are built through the green, and even directly from undulated greens, to ditches, drains or ponds. If the Committee has marked all areas that are water hazards and lateral water hazards it may use the following Local Rule as information to the players. 

Suggested wording. The headline and the penalty may be removed when this Rule stands together with other Rules under a specific headline.

All water hazards and lateral water hazards are marked. Water in swales is casual water and the player may take relief, without penalty, under Rule 25-1b or c. Penalty: Match play - Loss of hole; Stroke play - Two strokes.
